DescriptionAs part of the new planning system, the Local Development Framework will replace the Hartlepool Local Plan. This report represents the first published stage in the preparation of a Core Strategy for Hartlepool. Hartlepool's Core Strategy will set out broadly but clearly what kind of place the area will be in the future, what kind of changes will be needed to make this happen, and how this will be brought about. As a starting point it will set out the spatial vision for the Borough - as it is anticipated to be by 2025. This Issues and Options paper sets out a wide range of Issues that currently exist or are likely to occur in the future. In order to ascertain the best way to address these issues effectively the document highlights a range of spatial planning options that could be taken forward in the future. Your views are sought on the best options for the future of Hartlepool.
